I wouldn't make an overly complicated tassel to finish this off. If you were to use some sort of monofilament through the clear pendant at the bottom it would make your tassel look like it was magically suspended at the bottom. I like the way you wrapped the section between the button knots with the pink cord: perhaps you could incorporate that technique/look into the tassel head?
